Our exercise programmes are created for you, your goals and your body. We know it’s hard to stay motivated and go to the gym a few times a week, finding that working with one of our qualified team can have a massive impact on you and your energy levels.
We look at what you want to achieve in our initial consultation (which is free) and talk through how we can get there. This time is for us to uncover what has prevented you from moving forward previously and why.
Your individual programme will cover fitness sessions with your trainer, a diet and nutrition plan with suggestions on meals, nutritional foods and any health supplements that we feel you will be best to take (things like Omega 3 fish oils, nothing too far out though), and how rebalancing your eating habits can have a massive impact on you.
As we progress through the weeks, whether you’re on a 12-week weight loss programme or a muscle building programme, we’ll be evaluating what you’ve eaten, what types of exercises sessions you’ve had (including how much we progressed), and how your overall energy levels have increased over the time period.
As we set the goals, we’ll move forward towards them, together, and we’ll lift you up when you might feel as though you’re not getting there fast enough. Getting the body you want takes time: for all of us.
Being bigger than your ideal body size isn’t great. You feel a little depressed and will sit down in front of the telly and emotionally eat. And it’s like a yoyo. You’re happy because you’ve lost a lot of weight over the previous few months and then WHAM! you’re back from your holidays and you see the scales sore up. It’s okay. We get it.
It’s about looking forward. Seeing that some of your habits are holding you back and that you can form new ones in their place. But, burning fat off your body isn’t a quick race: you should be thinking about being a tortoise and not a hare. We’ll help you move from the yoyo dieting mentality of ‘slimming world‘ and ‘weight watchers‘ to understanding foods and eating the right ones.
We’re going to be measuring you every week to ensure we’re staying on track. Yes, that means getting on the scales and seeing what the amount is, but it’s also about measuring your food intake; not to then say ‘you need to eat less’, but most probably ‘you need to eat less of these and more of these’ scenario.
